Aside from these subs... This movie is such a bit of a feels strip when the deep bonds of friendship. This movie can prove that you can make friends with anyone anywhere and the irony of events can make em. T_T

Oh it was translated from what seems like Chinese subs and from what the others say it seems to not have either been done properly (either through Google Translate or someone who just doesn't have a good grasp on the languages). Shame that, the summary actually had me interested. Guess I'll wait for a dub or hope for a better subbing.

That said... Please, as someone who's looking to going into translating, don't worry about trying to translate if you don't know what you're doing - if you're really interested in doing the work please try to learn the languages you're working with properly first, and if you aren't then just wait for someone else to get the job done because a bad job is more likely to turn people away. Can't count how many series' I've dropped because some impatient schmuck jumped ahead of the translating team and dropped some gibberish mess and then the folks translating gave up. It just screams a lack of disrespect for the original work and for the folks who work hard to localize so they can be enjoyed worldwide.

If it helps, the movie is going to be available digitally on December 13th, and on home video on December 27th if you live in the US, so it won't be too much longer.

Subs seemed like it was Google translated. I would have understood better if I did not read the subtitles; they gave me headache.

as it turns out. the japanese language structures sentences much different than english. i guess i'm more use to looking at language like this, so its easy for me but i can understand the confusion.

The way it translated the main character's name to a chinese name, it seems like someone translated the japanese into chinese subtitles and then someone took those chinese subtitles and badly translated them to english.

Made me fall in love with the animation and the part with the Golden Waterfall with the Rainbow in Iceland gave me goosebumps!

This was a great slice of life movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly. 🥰

I can't comment on the movie I am crying for 20 long minutes now and am not able to make a decent comment except don't fucking regret it, life is too short for that shit. Live until the end, make mistakes and laugh with your friends, because even "The last adventure still needs its witness". If you don't have a witness on your end just find me, and I will pass along your adventure and carry on with the proof of your living with me.

To be honest I wasn't really expecting anything at first but I'm glad 😊 and super satisfied with my decision to watch it. The ending was sad but beautiful and warm.
